Volunteers are a valued and vital part of our team. They play a hugely important role in helping us to conserve and manage a unique part of our nation’s military heritage.
Volunteering with the Royal Artillery Museum offers a rewarding and enriching experience as well as the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and be part of a team caring for one of the oldest military museums in the world.
Our small team of volunteers has recently contributed to a number of projects from developing a new exhibition featuring the funeral guns of Kings George V, VI and Edward VII to reviewing boxes of war diaries from WW1 and restoring numerous historic artillery pieces.
